AKD WAX (Alkyl Ketene Dimer) 1840

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

AKD WAX 1840 is a kind of fiber reactive neutral sizing agent, with high content of effective component, high iodine value and low acidity, without toluene and other organic solvent. It is an efficient sizing agent, especially suitable for the environmental protection requirements and the use of non-toxic standards for food wrappers.

APPLICATION

AKD WAX 1840 is pale yellow waxy flakes solid; it is widely used in the paper industry as sizing agent. After sizing with AKD emulsion, it can make paper less water absorbing and controls its printing properties.

 

SAFETY

AKD WAX 1840 may be stimulated to skin and eyes, it is recommended to use gloves and protective glasses when use. If come into direct contact with eye or skin, immediately rinse with plenty of water at least 15 minutes.
